OUR STORY
All Saints of the Americas Orthodox Church is located in Largo, Florida.
Its rector is Father George Liadis. Its affiliation is with the Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece. It adheres to the continuation of Orthodox Tradition without changes in doctrine, ecclesiology, or the liturgical observation of feast days.
The parish encourages participation from all backgrounds and invites visitors to attend English-only services. It offers resources for parishioners, including adult catechism classes and community events.
Our parish's patrons honor Saints Innocent, Tichon, John, Joasaph, and Philaret, the Apostolic Successors of the establishment of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in His Orthodox Church of the Americas. The Orthodox Mission under Saints Innocent, Herman and Juvenaly the Enlighteners of the Americas was established in the late 18th century.
They are particularly known for their missionary work, leadership, and dedication to the faith.
OUR FAITH
Our parish's beliefs and practices are rooted in the traditions of the Orthodox Church, which emphasize the salvific ministry and love of the Lord Jesus Christ to His apostles, and the early Church Fathers. This includes the importance of the sacraments, adherence to the Nicene Creed, and the preservation of Holy Tradition as a means of maintaining the faith.
The Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece remained steadfast when changes emerged in response to the Greek Orthodox Church's adoption of the Gregorian calendar in 1923.
The renovationists call them "Old Calendarists." This church maintains traditional Orthodox practices and has parishes worldwide, including in the United States, where it is known as the Church of the Genuine Orthodox Christians of America, reflecting its roots in the continuation of the unchanged doctrines and practices of the Orthodox Church.
